of Music Director until February
of 1997. During this time WNCI posted some of its
highest Arbitron ratings in the station's history.
When
Nationwide Communications was sold to Jacor in the
summer of 1998, Marc left WNCI and his law
enforcement career for nights at 92.3 WCOL, Jacor's
country outlet in Columbus. At WCOL, ratings success
was quick for Marc. The Fall 1998 Arbitron ratings
were up from Spring in ALL demographics, with the
25-54 demo up 5.3 to 7.8 and the 35-64 demo up 8.2
to 12.5. Before leaving WCOL in the summer of 2001,
the monthly Arbitrend report showed Marc number one
in the important 25-54 demo.
Marc
left
WCOL in the summer of 2001 to move to Missouri for
a job outside of radio. Marc continues his
involvement in radio by filling in at various stations
around the country.
